Harold Feinstein - Old cars, NYC, 1950s

I don’t like this photo for what the title is…my focus is on the person standing in the street, caught by the light and camera in the middle of machinery, industry, and what is probably crowds of people on the sidewalk.  There’s much more going on there than with the old cars.

I am in love with this picture.  It sort of reminds me of Inception.

The Life Aquatic With Steve Zissou

Just saw The Life Aquatic this weekend, and it wasn’t as good as I had hoped.  I still love Bill Murray and Wes Anderson, but The Royal Tenenbaums raised my expectations…
I’m also surprised because it’s a collaboration between Noah Baumbach and Wes Anderson…who are both stellar separately.  There was just something missing.
Anyway, I loved Moonrise Kingdom (which was nominated for an Oscar!) and am so excited for The Grand Budapest Hotel.
